STOP BEATING YOURSELF UP (AND BE KINDER TO OTHERS, TOO!)
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 13 FROM 10A-1P
cost $25-$40 (self-determined sliding scale)

Many of us are our own worst critics. We agonize over our mistakes, we question whether we’re “good enough” at the things we do, and sometimes we decide it’s better not to start something than to risk failing. All of this causes us stress, anxiety, and sometimes even depression.
On this half-day workshop, we’ll learn the art of mindful self-compassion.. We’ll learn, step-by-step, how to stop beating ourselves up, and how instead we can give ourselves the support and encouragement we need in order to flourish. We’ll also see how having a kinder attitude toward ourselves makes it easier to be kinder to others.

Bodhipaksa is a Buddhist teacher and author, who has been a member of the Triratna Buddhist Order for 22 years. He leads events internationally, and is the founder of Wildmind (www.wildmind.org), an online meditation center.
