We will use this time to meditation along with a short check in to see how we can best support one another. Plus the facilitator will continue on our Dharma theme offering everyone a focus for our practice. We look forward to seeing you and sharing our love and kindness for the wellness of all beings.

All are welcome!
The Five Spiritual Faculties
“Broadly speaking, in Buddhism prajna, wisdom or knowledge, is conterminous with the Dharma understood as Truth, principle, reality. More specifically, it consists in seeing things as they really are rather than as they appear to be. It consists in seeing all worldly existence as conditioned, and thus as unsatisfactory, impermanent, and without an ultimate and unchanging self. “
This Wednesday at Sangha Night we will focus on Wisdom, the spiritual faculty that forms a pair with Faith. These two faculties must balance each other in our practice and work together in harmony.
Wisdom has three levels. One is understanding that comes from hearing or reading the Dharma, another is based on thinking about or reflecting on the teaching in your own way, and the last comes from cultivating wisdom through meditation and the higher states of concentration that may come from meditation.
Do you cultivate wisdom in some of these ways? Which wisdom teachings or practices most resonate with you? How are you doing with balancing this intellectual and doctrinal side of practice with faith?
Please join us this Wednesday as we explore Wisdom.
