Please join us online by Zoom, Wednesday evenings, 6:45-8:00pm. We value Sangha (spiritual community) and the opportunity to be together. We will use this time for lightly guided meditation, a short check in to see how we can support one another, and exploration of a Buddhist topic. The facilitator will offer brief remarks and guide discussion as a way to focus our practice on that week’s theme. Themes may run several weeks, but each week can serve as a stand-alone session. We look forward to seeing you and sharing our love and kindness for the wellness of all beings.

Meditation practice evening at Nagaloka.

This week we take a break from dharma study to bring our meditation practice into focus. Whether we sit every day turning with compassion to that which arises, practice walking meditation, or chant mantras, there are many ways to help cultivate a calm, kind, and wise awareness to our worlds.

We can also struggle with over consumption of all things mental and physical, many forms of ill will, from mild annoyance to glass-breaking anger, physical discomforts, nagging doubts and an over active mind that drains us physically and mentally. This wide range of negative mental states keeps us from the benefit that some type of regular mind training could help.
