Sunday Morning at 8:30 – 9:30 am Tom will lead meditation, a check in along with a short Dharma discussion on Zoom. The program will look something like this:

10 minute check-in, 30 minute meditation with saluting the shrine, refuges and precepts, a reading and transference of merit and self-surrender at the end followed by a short discussion. This week, Sunday, December 20, our meditation will be the Metta Bhavana, the meditation of loving kindness. We welcome newcomers, so if you join us for the first time, we will give you instructions on the meditation. The Metta Bhavana has five segments: 1) meditate on loving kindness for yourself, 2) on loving kindness for a friend, 3) for a person you don’t know well, 4) for a person your find difficult to get along with, 5) for all for gradually expanding the circle to the entire universe. Since Sunday’s meditation is 20 minutes, each of these 5 segments will be 6 minutes long. More detailed instruction will be provided during the Sunday session. Please join us.
